Sonzier (Montreux)

Close to the village of Chernex, Sonzier is a preserved locality belonging to the municipality of Montreux. It enjoys a reputation of excellence due to the beauty of its natural environment and its breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Geneva. Surrounded by greenery, this "little town" is full of delicatessens and other local shops.

In Chernex, you will find a mini-market, a butcher shop, a bakery, two restaurants and a bar. Chernex is also the ideal starting point to go to the ski resorts of the Bernese Oberland. The Gstaad ski resort can be reached in 80 minutes with the Goldenpass directly from the Chernex train station. You can also take the A9 freeway, which is only a few minutes away.
